High Fives & Flying Kisses

You with your Pati and your current fave fruit

Your hi-5s started about 2 weeks ago. Mummy wanted to teach you something different and started you off with the hi-10. But its more common for friends and family to go, "give me a hi-5". So this is what you know. And being a baby, repetition is your favorite game. So if anyone is going to give you a hi-5, they better be prepared to stay a while and do it with you at least another 10 times. And when people clap or smile or giving you a "yay! clever girl!", they ARE encouraging you and this is enough to get you doing the hi-5 forever! Oh but mummy is so proud of you. You are moving so quickly from being a baby-baby to moving into toddler-hood. It's sad and exciting for mummy to watch you learn and grow up so fast. Too fast.

Your Pati has been blowing you kisses for the longest time now. Finally, you are returning (well not really) her kisses. At least your'e trying. You have the first part of the kiss mastered but can't seem to blow them away. A flying kiss to you is your palm on your mouth while its wide open and your tongue sticking out. You seem to like how your palm tastes (salty) and tend to start licking away. Unable to pull your hand away from you mouth, you forget to blow the kiss. So it's basically you licking your palm and smiling away so proudly with this flying kiss accomplishment. And oh what an accomplishment! Mummy is always glad when you learn things your way and add a little Elil uniqueness to it. You go girl!
